Privacy Policy — Thinks.
Overview
Thinks. is a private journaling app. Your entries stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. We do not collect, sell, rent, or mine personal data.
Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. We do not create user accounts or require sign-in.
On-Device Storage
Your content is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall Thinks., the operating system may remove this local data. If you back up your device (e.g., iCloud Backup), your entries may be included in that device backup under your control.
Optional Sharing & Exports
If you choose to export, share, or back up data (e.g., saving to Files or sending via email or a cloud drive), that data leaves your device under your direction and is then governed by the destination service’s terms and privacy practices.
Permissions
Thinks. may request optional permissions only to enable features you choose (e.g., notifications for reminders). The app functions without optional permissions. No permission is used for tracking.
Third-Party Services & SDKs
Thinks. is built with standard platform and framework components. We do not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not transmit your journal content to our servers.
Security
Your entries are kept on-device. Where supported by the OS, sensitive app data may be stored using OS-provided secure storage (e.g., Keychain/Keystore). You are responsible for device-level security (screen lock, OS updates, backups).
Children
Thinks. is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at thinks@patrickreinbold.com so we can assist.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect the app’s behavior or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
